The Trickle System Rain Barrel is a partially underground rain barrel that uses gravity to feed wat
er from the tank into the irrigation pipes to water your lawn and garden at their roots. This rain barrel works very much like other barrels on the market, however, you have to install its irrigation pipes 8-12” below the ground.
This system collects the rain water that would normally flow through your eaves and into your sewer system. Instead, the water is collected in its storage tank, and feeds your lawn and garden through its irrigation pipes. These pipes will feed water to w here your plants need it most. Through small holes in its drainage system, it is constantly feeding and directing water to the roots of your plants.
Through soil saturation, the system will only use as much water as the soil and plants can absorb. Just divert the water from your downspout into the tank. It’s a great way to keep your lawn hydrated, and to reduce your use of water (and save money!)
The body of this 83 gallon barrel is comprised of recycled plastic. It also is made with UV8 inhibitors which protect the storage tank from fading or deteriorating. The interesting advantage there is wit
h the Trickle System
Rain Barrel is that it is roto-molded. Roto-molding produces vinyl products that are one piece which helps to keep an even wall thickness. It helps to prevent any separation and leakage from occurring. Roto-molding also helps to increase the durability and lifespan of the barrel.
The barrel has a mesh screen located at the top of the barrel to help keep any debris or insects from entering into your fresh rain water. Included with the rain barrel are 2 - 10 ft sections of tubing, a brass spigot, and steel clips.
Help keep your lawn, garden, and wallet extra green this season with the Trickle System Rain Barrel!
